These terms cover the Life of Ten app and this website, both provided by [LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], Vienna, Austria. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

What you get

A licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. The app itself stays ours; you're not buying the software, you're allowed to use it.

Accounts

An account is optional and exists to back up and sync your board. You're responsible for keeping access to it secure. We can close an account that's being used to attack the service or to store unlawful content, and we'll tell you why unless we're legally barred from doing so.

Your entries are yours

Whatever you write in your lists belongs to you. We don't claim rights over it and don't use it to train anything. We store it only to give it back to you on your other devices.

If the service stops

The app works offline and signed out by design, so it keeps working if sync ever goes away. If we do shut the sync service down, we'll give at least [30/60/90] days' notice by email to account holders and provide an export before it goes.

Availability

Sync is offered as-is, without a guaranteed uptime. Maintenance, outages and version changes happen. The one thing we commit to: no update will delete your local board without you asking for it.

The annual wipe

Clearing the board after a year is the intended behaviour of the app, not a fault. The report is generated first and the wipe follows. Keep your reports if you want a record — we don't hold a shadow copy of what was cleared.

Liability

[Have this section checked. Austrian and EU consumer law limits how far you can disclaim liability, and blanket "we are not liable for anything" clauses are unenforceable against consumers. As a general shape: liability for intent and gross negligence is not excluded, nor is liability for personal injury or under the Product Liability Act.]

Changes

If these terms change materially, account holders get notice by email. Continuing to use the app after that means the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

Austrian law applies. If you're a consumer, that doesn't take away the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring a case in your own country's courts. The EU's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/odr.
